Telephone connection equipment for the selective connection of an incoming telephone call from a first telephone user to a desired second telephone user, on an external or internal telephone line, essentially comprises a computerized telephone control system which uses pre-recorded voice messages to announce one or more currently available desired second telephone users. The desired telephone user is identified and selected by means of a specified number which is combined in the computerized system with the telephone number at which the desired user answers. The calling user makes the selection by dialling the corresponding number on the telephone keypad or by means of voice recognition or by a voice list of numbers. IMAGE
