ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA circuit for indicating the existence ornon-existence of a satellite signal at asatellite-broadcast receiver. The circuit includes anantenna adjusting part aimed toward the satellite afterthe satellite signal is tuned using a channel tuning stagedriven by the output of a microcomputer. The level of theintermediate frequency (IF) signal is detected by the IFsignal automatic gain control (AGC) amplifier and the IFsignal level detector. A video signal detecting stagedetects the frequency modulation (FM) signal of the IFsignal AGC amplifier output and the existence ornon-existence of the video signal is determined afteraudio/video signal processing, and a channel displayingpart, wherein the state of said video detecting part andthe antenna position where video signal exists aredisplayed by on-screen operations.
