ABSTRACTApparatus (1) for removing marine growth from,and for preventing re-growth on, offshore marine structures,said apparatus comprising flexible multi-component floatingrings (2) and submerged rings (3) being adapted to surrounda structural support member of the offshore marinestructure, the apparatus being powered by the utilization ofocean forces in the form of waves, swells, tides andcurrents whereby marine growth is removed from, andprevented from re-establishing on, the structural supportmember by means of the reciprocating motion of the apparatusabout the structural support member.
