Use of inorganic fluorides and nitrogen heterocyclics for enhancement of fluoride uptake in teeth

An oral composition comprising (i) at least one fluoride compound and (ii) at least one 5- or 6-­membered, substituted heterocyclic compound which contains 1 to 3 nitrogen atoms as ring hetero atoms, which may contain an oxygen or sulfur atom as a ring hetero atom, and which may be condensed with one or two 6-membered carbocyclic or heterocyclic rings, or a salt thereof. This oral composition is very effective for preventing caries of the teeth.
