The composition of the invention contains finely divided particles, with a diameter not exceeding 1 $g(m)m, together with a ceramic powder designed to form a matrix surrounding the finely divided particles, dispersed in a dispersion medium which has no oxidizing action on the finely dispersed particles and which has a surface tension not exceeding 35 x 10?-6 N/mm and a dielectric constant of less than 6. On completion of the dispersion, the dispersion medium is removed and the particles converted into a sinterable mixture.
