The invention proposes a skirting which is made up of a supporting angle and of an angle-shaped termination profile. The supporting angle is an angle profile having two legs which run at right angles with respect to each other and of which the first can be fastened, as a fastening leg, on a structure wall and the other then juts out, as supporting leg, at right angles from the structure wall. The termination profile is also a profile having two legs which run at right angles with respect to each other and of which one forms a comparatively narrow retaining flange and the other, if used as intended, forms a bearing leg bearing on the supporting leg of the supporting angle. The termination profile is secured on the supporting angle by means of special securing parts which have a leg which engages over the bearing-leg edge remote from the retaining flange and is provided with latching contours which interact in a positively locking manner with latching contours arranged on the bearing leg or on the edge thereof.
