The arrangement has two connecting terminating strips or edgings (2), each a plastic profile (4) with a spread horizontal base region (8), a bent away upward rising part on a first side of the base region for attaching the plastic profile to the building wall (14) and on an opposite, second side of the base region a bent away upward rising second part for overlaying a lower boundary region of the exterior surface of the thermal insulation. An independent claim is also included for a terminating strip for the lower end of thermal insulation.
