The support device of a form to be struck of the punching-ball, punching-bag or similar type is noteworthy in that it comprises a structure (3) consisting of at least two tubes (3.1 - 3.2), sliding partially in each other, in an adjustable manner, under the effect of a pressure force developed by a means (4), the function of which is to permit firm positioning and holding of the ends (3.3 - 3.4) of the structure in a frame, after adjustment of position in terms of height, as a function of the sizes of user, the said structure (3.1) being secured to a platform (7) having, in its underpart, means for coupling a form to be struck (12), at least one of the ends (3.3) of the structure being arranged with a profiled soleplate (5) ensuring, on the one hand, a function of fastening and centring the structure (3) and, on the other hand, preventing its angular pivoting under the effect of forces of the form struck by the user, the other end (3.4) of the structure bearing against the wall opposite the frame.
