The present invention relates to new non-centrosymmetric crystalline structures consisting of an optionally substituted 2-amino-5-nitropyridinium halide. It also relates to a process for the preparation of these crystalline structures. Finally, it relates to an optoelectronic-effect device containing the said crystalline structure.
