FIELD: chemical industry and agriculture. SUBSTANCE: clinoptilolite is treated with a sewage water in a module consisting of two columns connected to each other in sequence. The sea water is passed through the first column at a temperature of T₁ until the equilibrium on potassium is attained with the source water. Potassium concentrate is obtained by regeneration of the first column with the sea water heated to a temperature of T₂. A finished product is obtained by passing the concentrate, cooled to the temperature of T₁, through the second column until the equilibrium with the concentrate is attained. The processing temperature is chosen in correspondence with the consideration 50 C 50^°CT₂-T₁70^°C 170 C.
