FIELD: ore-melting furnaces. SUBSTANCE: control system of phosphor furnace has electric mode regulator and units for controlling movement of electrodes and switching steps of voltages, units for determining position of zone of carbonization of self-baking electrode and for realizing cross-over of the electrode. Unit for determining distance of electrode-bottom and two OR gates are introduced additionally, which are connected together in specific manner and with units of the system, used before. Application of the invention permits to avoid troubles when crossing-over electrodes and carbonizing, and to improve service life of lining. EFFECT: improved reliability of operation of self-baking electrodes and lining. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
