SUBSTANCE: essence of this method resides in joining together osteal fragments using external or internal fixing device, positioning strain-gage transducer where fixing device members are attached, applying dosed static or dynamic load to fractured bone, recording indications given by strain-gage transducers, plotting curves of forces arising in bone as fixing device components are tightened and load is imposed, and selecting optimum version that will provide uniform distribution of forces in bone. EFFECT: uniform distribution of forces in affected bone.
