FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method consists in that holes drilled in face zone are constantly oriented relative to cleavage fissures. Drilling is carried out in band with maximum ratio of band thickness to its strength and parameters are registered with periodicity proportional to ratio of band thickness to hole drilling rate. EFFECT: higher accuracy of determination and reliability of method realization.
