A pulling strip (17) which slides longitudinally is set at a distance from one edge (5) of the sheet (1). The strip may be held in either slits or cut out sections which are set at regular intervals. Alternatively, the strip may be held in a hollow hem (15). The hem may be produced by turning up the edge and either welding (13) or gluing (9) pref. using a double sided adhesive strip (11). The strip is made of textile band, cord, string or an elastic band which is pulled through the hem and tied to form a package. USE/ADVANTAGE - Used in florists and nurseries to protect flowers, plants and floral arrangements. It is a simple and fast method of individually packaging bouquets etc. in a pretty manner.
