Electricity meter with disconnectable coupling between current and voltage circuits - has current conductor with connection rod allowing potential to be tapped and PCB with contact spring
Electricity meter with disconnectable coupling between current and voltage circuits - has current conductor with connection rod allowing potential to be tapped and PCB with contact spring
In the working condition of the electricity meter, the contact spring (4') lies on the connection rod (3') with a preset minimal force. The s-shaped end (4f) of the contact spring is installed between an aperture (7a) and a groove (7b) of a housing section (7). The tip (9) of a testing cable can be inserted through the aperture and deflected sot that the electrical contact between the connection rod and spring can be broken. This enables the current and voltage circuits of the meter to be separated for testing purposes and an electrical connection between the voltage circuit and an external voltage source to be established in the same process. The meter automatically returns to the working condition when the testing cable is removed. ADVANTAGE - Provides electrical connection between current and voltage circuits which can be separated for testing without releasing a screw connection. Faultless electrical connection in working state.
