A multidirectionally adjustable chair is proposed which can be adapted to the body size of younger and older children between 5 and 18 years, in which chair the seat height can be adjusted with the aid of easily telescoping chair legs, and the backrest height above the seat surface and the size of the seat surface can be adjusted at the same time, the ergonomic requirements and orthopaedic needs of children being taken into consideration when working at school or at home.
