PURPOSE: To provide an inside retainer for a fractured bone which ensures the redressment and the uniform stress on the fractured bone portion by surrounding two portions of the fractured bone with two ends of press means and forcing the teeth of the press means and pulling means into the bone to form the stable engagement with the bone. CONSTITUTION: A tensile ring 2 surrounds a fractured bone 4 to form a closed ring. A framed structure for holding the fractured portions is formed of a press bar 1 and the tensile ring 2 to provide the internal fixation of the fractured bone. Fastening means 3 fasten the periphery of the bone with the proper tension to provide the stable internal fixation. When the tensile rings are fastened, teeth 22 are forced into the surface of the bone so that the ring 2 forming the stable engagement with the bone is fastened through a fastening structure 23 formed in the end by the fastening means 3. The fastening structure 24 of the tensile ring 2 is constituted of a hook of one side and an opening of the other side. The fastening structure conveniently fixes the whole device to the fractured bone and removes the apparatus from the bone after the healing.
