A system for controlling the air - / fuel ratio - force for internal combustion engines with the ability of a correction - coefficient to learn.
PURPOSE:To decrease an air-fuel ratio difference in level between areas by computing the average values of air-fuel ratio deviation, engine load and number of rotations on every half-period of the air-fuel ratio feedback correction amount, updating a learning value of a corresponding area with the average value of the air-fuel deviation, and subdividing the area. CONSTITUTION:Detection values of an air flow meter 24, a crank angle sensor 25, an O2 sensor 26, a cooling water temperature sensor 27, a throttle valve opening sensor and so on are input to a control unit 40. The control unit 40 computes the basic fuel injection quantity from the intake air quantity and a number of rotations and correction is conducted by the air-fuel ratio feedback correction amount based on a detection value of the O2 sensor 26 and the learning correction amount at every area divided by the basic fuel injection quantity and the number of rotations. The learning correction amount is updated according to the average values of air-fuel ratio deviation, engine load and number of rotations computed at every half-period of the feedback correction amount.
