Glass reinforced polyphenylene ether resin molding compositions will exhibit improved ductile response toward tensile failure by combining therein a bonding-type glass fiber reinforcement (i.e. a glass fiber having affinity toward the resin matrix) and a core-shell type impact modifier comprised of a crosslinked acrylate core and an interpenetrating, crosslinked styrene shell.
