Two suction valves (11) are subject to the hydraulic medium via a common pipe (13) and the pressure strokes of the two pistons are so asynchronously controllable that the maximum secondary pressure deliverable by one plunger at the start of a stroke has already been reached before the pressure delivered by the other plunger has decreased.
