The inner part (13) of the joint has a spherical surface (27) between the fitted journals (24) to interact directly with the centring devices connected to the ring body. The centring devices can be radially inwardly aligned axially running webs (18) each engaging between the journals of the inner part or an axially aligned coaxial centring sleeve with longitudinally aligned slits to take the journal. The track elements (20) of the outer part of the joint which hold the rollers (26) are designed independently of each other. These track elements can be formed as a closed ring. Rotary stops are set between the ring bodies of the outer and inner parts. USE/ADVANTAGE - The drive shaft for a tripod joint always runs centred and the required orbital compensation is produced solely by the permitted relative movement between the track elements and ring bodies.
