The explosive material charge consists of at least two hollow charges (11,12) the radiation axes (A1,A2) of which converge on the target area. The hollow charges are arranged in a row or in a ring formation around a centre. A sensor (18) determines the distance of a target, and dependent upon this adjusts the inclination angle of at least one of the hollow charges so that the radiation axis (A2) of this charge (11) intersects the radiation axis (A1) of at least one further hollow charge (12) at the target location. One of the hollow charges has a small pre-charge which is ignited earlier than a larger main charge. An ignition device (13) for igniting both hollow charges is arranged near to the small pre-charge, whereby the ignition device (13) and the pre-charge have the same width as the main charge. USE/ADVANTAGE - In military application, to detonate hollow charges in a land mine with accurate directional effect.
