the two-part mould is of water absorbing material, with a core as one part penetrating into other mould part. Dross is filled into the mould, and formed out after a leather-like blank has been formed on the forming wall. Then the mould is removed and the blank dried and fired. A corrugation or protrusion is formed in the inner part of the jacketed wall by providing the mould core with one on several protrusions or corrugations in axial planes.
