The assembly for the atmopsheric concentration of special waste, as watery emulsions esp. with an oil content, has a boiler (1) to hold the waste and heat it to water evapn. temp.. The boiler (1) has a sump outlet (9) which can be closed, and at the top has a steam outlet (4) to an air-cooled condenser (6) at the entry (5) leading to a water collection container (2), on the same pallet (3) as the boiler (1). The water container (2) has an inlet (7) from the condenser (6) and a closable outlet (22) or overflow. The boiler (1) has at least one level monitor (18) and a temp. monitor to show the min. contents level and the max. temp. to switch a control separately or together for the gas burner for the boiler (1). The top of the boiler (1) is covered by a fluid-sealed cover (10), with a closable steam pressure compensn. opening with a weight to set the pressure in the boiler (1) at 0.2-0.3 bar. The pressure control opening is covered by a filter together with the cover (10). USE/ADVANTAGE - The system is for the treatment of waste water and emulsions from industries which treat or handle materials such as drilling an cutting oil emulsions, degreasing baths, and the like. The assembly is compact and mobile to be located as required, to process the waste emulsions without damage to the environment and reduce the vol. of special waste for disposal.
