The wheeled carriage is of the control appts. contg. type, and the wheel to be braked has two opposite sections w.r.t. its dia.. The carriage has a base frame with rotary rollers, whose rotation excess extend across the guide rail longitudinal direction, forming roller groups in tandem configuration. It has a brake with a movable brake member, which can reciprocate to exert and release friction contact at the guide rail. The brake member actuation is carried out by a control suspended from the carriage. The guide rail running faces in a common flame. USE/ADVANTAGE - For crane etc. control appts. carriage, with simple and reliable operation, and selected positioning.
