At least in the control gap (2) area for the cold medium there is an axially protruding sec. control edge (4) on one side and a sleeve face (122) on the other so that when the control gap is closed the sec. control edge is at least near by the sleeve face. The active sleeve face of the valve body (12) or of the sec. control edge can be conical with a cone angle of pref. 60 deg. The sec. control edge can be moulded as a cylindrical ring onto the head piece (11). It can be set in the control gap for the cold water and/or in the control gap for the hot water. USE/ADVANTAGE - Undesired vibrations are avoided in extreme operating conditions of the mixer valve.
