The rotary switch is provided with contacts (3, 5, 6) arranged on its switching paths. The sequence switch is operated depending on the setting of the common rotary switch. The sequence switch either connects a bi-metal heater (7) directly or across an electronic control unit (1) with the supply voltage. The cooker installation is acted on either by the preselected cooking stage, at once with a corresp. pulsed power, or in another case time delayed with the presetting of the automatic cooking control.
