摘要
The shinbone hinges on a foot and simulates the increase in bending resistance as the angle between them decreases, using a spring-loaded tappet. The tappet (6) slides axially on the shinbone (1), its roller (7) working against a cam (8) on the foot (3). In relation to the foot hinge axis (2), the cam radius increases between the uncritical and critical bending angles, thus compressing the spring (14). The cam can contain a locking recess (8a) engaged by the roller in the initial position. The cam can protrude into a hollow portion of the shin contg. the tappet. ADVANTAGE - Accurate evaluation of injury risk to ankle and foot.
