Adjustable fitting aid for stocking - useful for pulling medical compression stocking onto pain sensitive patient

The aid for pulling on stockings, esp. compression stockings, has stretching device formed by equispaced longitudinal struts which are supported on a rest at one end and bear arcuate elements at the other end, the aid having a two-piece construction. The novelty is that adjusters (11) are provided in the sepn. plane of the two pieces and permit longitudinal displacement along their main axes. Each adjuster (11) is a circular cylindrical body with a large diameter middle portion in the form of an exchangeable distance piece. The end portions of the adjuster fit into hollow ends of the rest (10a, 10b) or the struts (12). The visible portion of each adjuster (11) has positioning markings. ADVANTAGE - The aid is adjustable to any desired size so that the stocking (or any other compression bandage) can be pulled on, in an almost contactless manner and without great force, onto a pain-sensitive patient.
