The aid (10, 12) has two rod-shaped sliding units, where each sliding unit has a front end (18) connected with an upper circular edge (28) of a stocking (14) at a diametrically opposite positions in a force-fitting and form-fitting manner. The sliding unit is moved in the direction of a foot end and over the foot end such that the stocking is rolled and/or pulled out from a leg of a person. Each of the sliding units has a length corresponding to a length of the leg or a flange of the stocking, where the sliding units are formed as telescopic rods.
