The end wall (17) of the piston curves round in the main area (17a) towards the inside of the piston and is elastic so that it can be temporarily pressed outwards when force is applied. The ring-like outer bead (19) at the rear circumferential edge of the piston is larger than the inner width of the cartridge body (11) so that the bead is supported at the rear end of the cartridge and only enters into the cartridge body when the piston has been deformed by the piston setting tool pressing out the curved area. The inwardly curved main area of the end wall can be enclosed by an outwardly curved ring area (17b). The thickness of the end wall (17) is pref. about least 1.4 mm. USE/ADVANTAGE - Cartridge for paste-like sealing substances etc. The contact pressure with which the sealing lip (18) presses against the cartridge body increases according to the squeeze pressure applied.
