The basic shape of the kerbstone (1) is a half-moon (2,3), whose profile contour has a continuous row of small, semi-circular arcs (4) of identical size. The convex circular section (2) of the half-moon shape is surrounded by the semicircular arcs, arcuated towards the centre point (5) of the half-moon shape. The concave section (3) of the half-moon shape has the same configuration, while two or three semicircular arcs are arcuated away from the centre point. The concave section of the half-moon shape may be free of the semicircular area, while forming itself a part of the entire contour.
