The digital electronic circuit is used to provide all four modes of operation for arithmetic processing. The numbers are keyboard entered in series and are converted into 4 bit binary code form. The selection of operation for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division is made by operation of function keys. The basis arithmetic process is provided by a 4 bit binary adder/subtractor (6) with shift register storage (22) of data input. Outputs of the registers connect with 4 lines via diodes. A pulse generating circuit provides control inputs. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simplified arithmetic processing.
