The measuring arrangement includes a siphon (1) with a photometric turbidity measurement section (2) immersed in it. A light source (3) and detector (4) are included in a liquid tight immersion probe (5) with a cable connection to a power supply and display unit (6). The immersion probe is immersed in the self-filling siphon which is applied to the output of the oil water separation system (7). The probe can be suspended vertically in the siphon and can be easily removed to be cleaned and checked. USE/ADVANTAGE - Enables accurate measurement of residual oil in cleaned water for small flow rates.
