The cap (1) is formed by a shoe which can be fitted on the end piece of the component from which the bolt protrudes across the longitudinal extension. The cap has a transversely aligned through opening (11) for the bolt (7) and has a height (H) corresp. to at least the bolt length (L). The cap can have a basic square shape with rounded end side (2). The opposite end side (3) at the top of the cap has a recess (5) extending over practically the entire width and matching the dimensions of the component end piece. The recess extends to the opposite rounded end side. The cap can be made of rubber pref. in red or yellow as a warning colour.
