The system for fastening a plastic component (30) to a second component (42), e.g. of metal, comprises a bolt (36) which fits into a sleeve (32) mounted in a bore in the plastic component. The end of the bolt screws into a threaded bore (40) in the second component. A lower collar (44) rests on the metal component when the bolt is screwed home and an upper collar (38) below the head rests on a ring (34) inside the sleeve.
