The coating system has the pressure container (2) made of electrically insulating material pref. plastic. It screens the high voltage of the electrically charged coating liquid (6) in the container, against the surroundings outside the container. One earthing contact (52) at least is so arranged inside the container, that it is electrically connected with the liquid (6). An electric conducting path (53) is provided, which connects the earthing contact (52), for the electrical discharge of the system and the coating liquid, with the earth potential (56) situated outside the pressure container (2), if the high voltage is switched off. ADVANTAGE - Disturbing or electrical capacitance dangerous to humans using spray gun, is eliminated.
