The suction nozzle (6,7), installed near the brake pad (3,4) brought to bear upon each disc (1,2), is connected by rubber tubing (12,13) to a central filter unit (14) from which air is drawn through a filter paper (17) by a fan (15) driven by an electric motor (16). Each nozzle is mfd. of sheet metal and secured to the axle section or to the brake pad itself close to the face from which the brake disc recedes in forward travel (5). ADVANTAGE - Environmental pollution is reduced by central collection and storage of dust from all four wheel brakes into a filter unit which can be emptied and replaced with one hand.
