The cooler has an endless belt (8) led over rollers (4, 5) and the rollers (4) arranged in the region of the condenser (7) are heated. The rollers (5) arranged in the vicinity of the evaporator (2) are cooled and a vacuum pump (1) is connected to the housing (10). A partition wall (6) is arranged between the condenser and the evaporator sections of the housing (10). The condenser consists of two half shell shaped heat exchangers. Solid sorbents silica gel or salt crystals are introduced as the sorption medium.
