Ventilation system for vehicle interior - uses single rotating flap to control flow in main and branch ducts

The vehicle ventilation system has a main air flow control flap (20) swivel mounted about an axis (22) in the main air duct (11). The flap can be swivelled between two end positions such that the main duct cross-section is fully covered in the first position in front of the branch opening (13) of the side duct (12). In the second position the main duct is covered behind the branch opening. The side flap (21) is so joined to the main flap that the side duct is completely open in the second position of the main flap. USE/ADVANTAGE - Ventilation system for vehicle interior allows the complete closure of both ducts and also partial blocking and opening of the ducts.
