A bedside table, in particular bedside-care table, has a bed table (1, 2; 5) comprising a guide (1, 2) provided on the bedside table (31) and capable of telescoping out, and a table leaf (5) pivotably (7) mounted at the upper end of the guide (1, 2) and slidable via the guide (1, 2). In order to improve a bedside table of this type, the guide (1, 2) is pivotable about a shaft (3) located in the lower region of the bedside table (31) (Fig. 4). IMAGE
