Bucket belt conveyors with buckets running on the inside in the material-feed and material-delivery regions possess as a deflecting device, in the region of the material feed, a profiled drum in the form of a pair of discs which allows a collision-free passage of the buckets running on the inside, but which supports the belt only at the belt edges. The invention is intended to provide a bucket fastening for these conveyors which, even under jolt-like loads, connects the bucket firmly to the belt during the reception of material and prevents the belt from being drawn into the profiled drum.
