The invention relates to a process for mass flow metering of liquid components of a mixture to be produced, in particular for the food industry, with subsequent cleaning, as far as is needed using the CIP (cleaning in place) process, and to a metering device for process implementation. It can be applied to the same extent in the chemical industry or in agriculture, where mixtures of liquids have to be produced in accordance with mass ratios. The individual liquid components are fed one after another to a mass flow metering device. For this purpose, the device according to the invention is used, which allows the components to be made available under computer control. After the metering has been completed, the surfaces exposed to liquids are cleaned alternatively conventionally or by the CIP process.
