A proportional gain (Gth) is determined whilst taking account of the choke flap opening angle and vehicle acceleration for different driving states but for a constant gear selection. A product of the proportional gain and a coefficient (kG) dependent on the gear selected is derived as the gain factor for a vehicle acceleration control system. USE/ADVANTAGE - To simulate driving conditions during tests. Enables acceleration increases to be automatically and very accurately simulated by robot to enable highly accurate simulation of driving state of vehicle under test.
