A holding pin guide plate (2) with a number of tightly arranged bore holes (8) is connected to a fixing plate. The combination can be moved over the object (6) to be handled. Multiple holding pins (1) extending out below the holding pin guide plate, can be shifted lengthways. The lower ends of the pins which touch the object are elastically deformed to match the contour region of the object. An ejector plate (4) is lowered onto the holding pin guide plate by an ejector device (5). USE/ADVANTAGE - For use with e.g. industrial robots. Can handle objects of any geometry and of different materials using simple arrangement with matching to different shapes and positions of objects occurring automatically.
