The present invention relates to a process for thermal treatment of an article made of a nickel-based superalloy, containing from 40 to 70% by volume of the gamma-prime phase. / p & & p & this process is characterized in that it comprises the steps consisting in: / p & & p & a. produce a concentration of coarse particles of the gamma-prime phase, concentrated at the location of the limits of the grains, while maintaining the part to a first heat treatment temperature which is less than approximately 2,8 grade (s) at 28 grade (s) of the temperature of dissolution of the gamma-prime phase; / p & & p & b. to produce a fine dispersion of the gamma-prime phase in the grains, by heating the article to a second heat treatment temperature which is less than approximately 5,5 - 138 grade (s) of the first heat treatment temperature, for a period of time of at least 0,5 hour, and to cool rapidly the article at a temperature less than about 650 grade (s) and / p & & p & c. to stabilize the particles of the gamma-prime phase in the grains, by heating the part to a temperature of 650 - 815 grade (s).
