The present addition relates to a reinforced composite plastic and its application in the construction of surface treatment equipment. This material comprises, from its face in contact with the outside atmosphere towards its face intended to be brought into contact with chemical products, a pigmented gel-coat layer (1) produced from vinyl ester, a first reinforcement layer (2) based on glass fibres and a vinyl ester resin, a layer (3) of low-viscosity resin filled with mineral (inorganic) microfibres having a variable geometry, and a second reinforcement layer (4) based on glass fibres and a vinyl ester resin with, as a finishing coat, a chemical film (web) (5). This addition finds application in the construction of surface treatment tunnels and of vessels (tanks) in the motor-vehicle industry, for example. IMAGE
