It consists of a disc carrying frictional pads (11) that has on its extreme periphery on either face frictional rubbing pads (12). On its internal periphery, the disc is connected onto its central web (13). On its internal periphery, the disc (11) contains a fold (14) which extends from it a segment (15) which spaces it from the centre line (M1) of the disc and by which it is connected onto the web (13). Use/Advantage - As a friction disc in a clutch unit where the centre-line of the disc is offset from that of the web so that it takes up less space in the clutch unit and the method of fixing reduces its cost.
