A plastics tubular neck (10) is fixed on a metal collar (12) which comprises a ring (26) closed down towards the outside of the collar (12). This ring (26) engages in a throat (22) located in one end of the neck (10) such that the ring edge fits in an annular projection (30) on one wall of the throat (22). The edge of the ring (26) has a crown ring with regularly spaced teeth which are driven into the annular projection (30). The neck (10) has a section (14), the external surface of which is threaded (16), and on which is screwed a plastics plug (18). ADVANTAGE - Prevents rotation of the neck relative to the container when screwing or unscrewing a neck stopper.
