The sensor has a body (1) with a leak-proof tube (2) attached to a threaded ferrule (6) which screws into the container of fluid to be monitored. Inside the tube (2) is a temp. probe or thermocouple (12) with a cable (13) to external electronics. On top of the body (1) is a protective cap (4), enclosing a compartment (3) contg. a pressure transducer (9) and associated electronics (11), with an electrical connector (5). Holes (7) in the body allow fluid to pass to the transducer. The combined sensor is screwed directly into a pipe, vessel, etc. with the leak-proof tube containing a thermocouple immersed in the fluid to be monitored. USE/ADVANTAGE - For turbines, reducers, hydraulic presses and chemical and petroleum industry. Provides high pressure and temp. measurements in fluids, including corrosive fluids, without errors due to sampling lines, and at lower cost.
